Progress Post 3: Solving A Rubix Cube

You know, I am doing tuning on these pictures so you can tell the gold from the silver, but me, I can't tell the gold from the silver easy they are so similar, especially since it's a reflective cube.

Progress Post 2: Solving A Rubix Cube

Well, I have been fumbling around with this a little more.  I'm not exactly sure what I should write in these posts, but I have two pictures here so you can see all the sides of the Rubix cube right now.

Day 1: A Blog About Solving A Rubix Cube...

Hey y'all!
So, I have been determined over the past three days to solve this Rubix Cube, I keep getting close, then messing it up again, this is what it looks like after I have messed it up again.

Now, take note that this isn't my Rubix cube. It is actually my 8 year old neighbor's Rubix Cube. We went over there for dinner, (my family) and I started messing around with it and her Mom told me to take it home. I want to return it, solved.

People have tried to send me instructions of how to solve it, but I refuse to even open the links. I want to solve it myself. Oh, and one guy on Twitter tells me there is only one way to solve it, and it's a mathematical solution, and if you don't have it you have to be a genius... well, I suck at math, I refuse to look at directions and I am not a genius. So I told him I might solve it by chance, he said if I do to buy him a lottery ticket. I accept that challenge!
